Fast Gear Up: Fresh Level 80 to Item Rating 340
Fresh 80 · Hyde & Zeek fast track
Current for Game Update 7.9.1
Do not upgrade a whole starter set one piece at a time. Push one blue piece to 340, sacrifice it to Hyde & Zeek, then buy reusable 340 modifications for every moddable slot.
- 324Starter set
- 1 blueSupreme Decurion
- 340Upgrade one piece
- MissionPrototype 340
- ZeekBuy 340 mods
- FinishAccessories
Set up your fresh level 80
- In the Fleet Supplies section, pick up Technological Advancements for Legendary Implants.
- Complete one Personal Conquest at level 80: 100,000 Conquest Points.
- Buy and equip a complete green 324 Noble Decurion starter set from the Conquest Gear Vendor.
- Equip any higher-rating drops you receive so future drops can follow your currently equipped item rating.
Get one blue upgrade target
Your only grind target is one blue Supreme Decurion piece. Boots or gloves are efficient because they are comparatively cheap to buy and upgrade while still carrying a tertiary stat.
- Master Mode Flashpoints drop blue gear; Veteran Mode Flashpoints can also produce a lucky blue drop.
- If it does not drop, buy boots or gloves from the Flashpoint Gear Vendor.
- Deconstruct unwanted non-upgrades for more FP-1 Stabilizers.
Push only that piece to 340
At the Flashpoint Upgrade Vendor, upgrade the same blue item through 324 → 326 → 328 → 330 → 332 → 334 → 336 → 338 → 340.
- Run Group Finder Flashpoints and complete their weekly missions.
- Spend FP-1 Stabilizers and credits on this piece only.
- You can exchange 400 Conquest Commendations for 100 FP-1 Stabilizers at the Conquest Gear Vendor.
Complete Prototype 340
- Talk to Hyde in Fleet Supplies and accept Zeek's Deconstruction: 340 Prototype.
- Confirm the correct mission is active before touching your gear.
- Deconstruct the blue item-rating 340 piece.
- Return to Hyde, complete the mission, then open Zeek's inventory.
Build the moddable 340 set
Zeek now sells unlimited item-rating 340 blue armorings, hilts, barrels, mods, and enhancements for credits. Put the correct components into moddable armor, mainhand, and offhand shells.
- Empty adaptive shells from the Fleet Adaptive Gear Vendor work.
- Match hilt or barrel type to your weapon; other moddable shells use the component slots shown in their modification window.
- The unlock is Legacy-wide, making future characters and disciplines much faster.
Finish the non-moddable slots
Hyde & Zeek do not finish your earpiece, two relics, two implants, and tactical. Handle these separately:
- Use Flashpoint or Operations drops and weekly boxes for the earpiece and relics, then upgrade them or rely on direct upgrade boxes.
- Complete Technological Advancements and spend Tech Fragments on your two recommended Legendary Implants, eventually upgrading them to 340.
- Buy the correct tactical for your discipline. A tactical is a build item, not a Hyde & Zeek modification.
Fastest currency priority
- Fast group route: Master Mode Flashpoints plus their weeklies.
- Easy group route: Veteran Group Finder Flashpoints; deconstruct extras.
- Solo fallback: Conquest, Heroics, Dailies, and Dynamic Encounters, then exchange Conquest Commendations for FP-1 Stabilizers.
Artifact 340 without Operations
Community workaround · No Rakata sacrifice
Once Prototype 340 is complete and Zeek sells the blue 340 components, an old purple Ossus shell can satisfy the Artifact mission without farming Operations gear.
- Keep Zeek's Deconstruction: 340 Artifact active.
- Travel to Ossus.
- On Republic side, find Major Pucenisco, the Equipment Vendor in the Jedi Colony.
- Buy a purple moddable item-rating 252 belt or armguards. These are preferred because they have only two modification slots.
- Remove every old modification from the purple shell.
- Buy a blue 340 Armoring and blue 340 Mod from Zeek, then fill every slot in the shell.
- If it still displays rating 252, log out and back in. Do not continue until the displayed item rating reads 340.
- Deconstruct the resulting purple item-rating 340 piece while the Artifact mission is active.
- Return to Hyde & Zeek and turn in the mission.
No Rakata sacrifice is required. Artifact 340 only unlocks purple 340 enhancements; armorings, mods, hilts, and barrels remain blue Prototype purchases.
Result: almost every moddable combat slot jumps directly to 340. Finish earpiece, relics, and Legendary Implants alongside normal play instead of upgrading an entire starter set piece by piece.

T.H.O.R.N. outbreak response · Tatooine
September 1–8, 2026 · Level 25+
Follow the Fleet briefing into Tatooine's underground plague tunnels, combine the dailies into one eastbound sweep, then finish with the Eyeless operation boss or the surface world boss.
- 1Fleet briefing
- 2THORN camp
- 3Enter tunnels
- 4Clear dailies
- 5Eyeless / boss
- 6Spend rewards
How to start
- Use the floating News Terminal near a lateral elevator on Carrick Station.
- Watch the THORN broadcast and accept To Fight Infection.
- Travel to Tatooine and report to the THORN camp near Anchorhead.
- Pick up Quarantine: Anchorhead and inoculate five infected citizens with the mission item.
- Take the camp speeder, descend through The Spike, and report to Crisis Command.
Before going underground
- Empty several mission-log slots and collect every terminal mission.
- Bring a healing companion if solo; bring at least one friend for the Heroic area.
- Keep the supplied macrobinoculars and mission items accessible.
- Switch to the PvE instance when looking for help with champion enemies.
Efficient daily route
- Finish the surface quarantine mission and report to the THORN camp.
- Descend to Crisis Command and collect all tunnel dailies.
- Head east and complete Rounding Up Raklings by attracting three raklings and returning them to the specimen container.
- Complete Tracking the Plague by collecting ten Mutagen Samples from infected enemies.
- Scan the first navigation beacons in the Contagion Zone.
- Continue through Infested Pathways; finish the beacon scans while scanning five skeletal remains and defeating twenty-five rakghouls.
- Enter The Epicenter for Flora and Fauna: defeat twenty Fungal Rakghouls and recover three samples from Rakghoul Blights.
- Finish with the Eyeless, Jeelvic, or the Tatooine world boss according to the group you can find.
The Eyeless
- Buy and use a THORN Priority Authorization for 1,000 credits to access the operation mission.
- Form a group of 8 or 16 players and clear the surrounding maulers before pulling the boss.
- Move out of green ground effects; melee should leave the purple area unless actively tanking.
- Kill small rakghoul adds quickly. The boss rewards reputation, event currency, and a chance at a Barnacle of the Eyeless.
World boss, vendor, and companion
- Plaguehorn is northwest of Outpost Largona in the Jundland Wastes and can drop its Reek pet.
- Find Jeelvic wandering The Epicenter after completing his datapad mission; he sells event crystals, pets, mounts, and decorations.
- The event is required to finish the Alliance Alert for Doctor Lokin; a Barnacle can also provide a large influence boost and an achievement.
What to keep and spend
Build THORN reputation and keep Rakghoul DNA Canisters. Rare mount purchases can also require an Exotic Plague Specimen, Symbiotic Fungal Bloom, or Barnacle of the Eyeless. Featured rewards include THORN armor, Outbreak Response weapons, infected mounts, mini-pets, companion customizations, black-green crystals, and stronghold decorations.
Fast guild run: clear the surface mission, sweep the tunnels eastward as one group, complete Flora and Fauna together, then form an operation for Eyeless before everyone leaves the instance.

Relics of the Gree
Gree Enclave research event · Ilum
September 15–22, 2026 · Level 50+
Aid the Gree on Ilum's Western Ice Shelf, unlock the Gray Secant, and prioritize the missions that award reputation and Gray Helix Components.
- 1Fleet terminal
- 2Travel to Ilum
- 3PvE dailies
- 4Gray Secant
- 5Xenoanalyst II
- 6Spend rewards
How to start
- Use the floating News Terminal on Carrick Station.
- Accept Gree Research Initiative and travel to Ilum.
- Take the speeder to the Western Ice Shelf and finish the introduction.
- Collect missions from the Gree reputation terminal.
Unlock the Gray Secant
Reach Newcomer standing, buy Authorization: Gray Secant from the Gree vendor for 1,000 credits, then use the ship's faction-side entrance.
Returning characters can use Activities → Solo → Event: Relics of the Gree for fast travel and the event weekly.
Efficient PvE route
- Complete Experimental Bounds at a probe relay.
- Clear Unexpected Variables while crossing the PvE field.
- Gather crystals and data chips for Catalysis.
- Group for Primary Studies; it is the main Heroic and awards one Gray Helix Component.
- Enter the ship and complete Advanced Testing.
- Turn in the five required missions for Event: Relics of the Gree.
- Finish with Xenoanalyst II when an operation group is forming.
Optional PvP missions
- Data Recollection sends you into the contested zone for droid memory cores and a sensor array.
- Charging the Pylon requires carrying energy orbs to pylons; expect enemy players and do not attack someone carrying your faction's orb.
Xenoanalyst II
Form an 8- or 16-player operation inside the Gray Secant. Story Mode is approachable; Veteran Mode needs tighter add control, console timing, and a strong final burn.
Xeno is the best repeatable source of Gray Helix Components: 4/6 in 8-player Story/Veteran and 6/8 in 16-player Story/Veteran.
World bosses and exploration
- Gravak'k is the Wampa boss north of the Republic base.
- Surgok'k is the K'lor'slug boss north of the Imperial base.
- Ancient Gree Relays is a one-time galaxy-spanning mission that awards the L1-L Scout pet, reputation, and two components.
Currency priority
Every mission grants Gree reputation, but only selected missions grant Gray Helix Components. Prioritize Xenoanalyst II, the Heroic, the event weekly, and Ancient Gree Relays when you need vendor currency.
Featured rewards
Build Gree Enclave reputation and save components for Gray Helix weapons, White, Red, and Blue Scalene armor, sphere vehicles, the Gree Digitization Cube, L1-L pets, the Miniature Gray Secant, and Gree-themed decorations.
Fast guild run: sweep the northern PvE missions, group for Primary Studies, board the Gray Secant for Advanced Testing, then form a 16-player Xeno group for the strongest component return.

- At the landing zone mission board, take Patrol: Dantooine and Event: Pirate Incursion.
- Collect the six faction dailies and all three nearby heroics.
Daily and weekly targets
Patrol requires all six daily missions. The event weekly requires 10 daily missions and 5 heroic missions, so plan on at least two characters or two days.
Turn-ins award Dantooine Initiative reputation and Dantooine Surveyor's Notes.
Efficient mission route
- Grab every mission before leaving the landing area.
- Combine nearby scan, sabotage, artillery, pirate, and supply objectives.
- Use mission items directly from the tracker whenever possible.
- Return only after all six daily counters are complete.

What We Get by Capturing a Planet
Guild Conquest · First-place rewards
Capturing means finishing #1 on the selected planet's leaderboard. That is different from merely reaching the Small, Medium, or Large guild-yield target.
Planet ownership
The guild remains listed as controlling the planet until another guild conquers it. The winning guild banner and name are advertised when players enter the planet.
Conqueror title
Eligible members receive the legacy-wide Conqueror of [Planet] title and achievement progress. Capturing every required world advances the Galaxy Conqueror meta achievement.
Owner-only mount
Members can buy the special planet-only Conquest mount from the Fleet vendor. It can only be ridden on a planet the guild currently controls.
Flagship support
While the planet is controlled, guild Orbital Support has its effect doubled there and planetary-control tools can help against shielded enemy commanders.
Guild rewards for reaching the selected yield
These rewards are earned for filling the invasion bar, whether the guild places first or not:
- Small Yield · 500,000 points
- 80 Guild Commendations
- Medium Yield · 2,000,000 points
- 90 Guild Commendations
- Large Yield · 5,000,000 points
- 100 Guild Commendations
Guild Commendations fund rotating guild perks. Qualifying characters also receive the normal guild-invasion package and a Reinforcement Component after reset.
Member eligibility
- Be in the guild before the week's starting reset; newly joined members are ineligible until the following reset.
- Earn at least 100,000 personal Conquest Points on that character.
- The guild must reach its selected invasion-yield threshold.
- Log in promptly after reset to claim rewards and title credit.
What first place does not change
- It does not multiply the ordinary personal or guild-yield reward package.
- It does not permanently add XP or reputation bonuses; those come from guild levels and equipped perks.
- Characters that miss the personal target do not receive the title or package.
For The True Republic, the lasting value is the Conqueror title and achievement, visible planetary ownership, Guild Commendations for future perks, and the prestige of adding another world to the guild's history.

Make Credits Efficiently in SWTOR
Reliable income · Darth Malgus economy
Current for Game Update 7.9.1
The strongest general route is to stack rewards: earn Conquest and Tech Fragments while gathering materials, then turn the tradable rewards into credits on the GTN.
Direct credits are useful, but the valuable layer is usually the tradable material, currency conversion or market item earned at the same time.
Best all-round route
- 1Check two or three live GTN prices
- 2Reach 100,000 Personal Conquest Points
- 3Earn Tech Fragments in content you enjoy
- 4Compare OEM-37 and RPM-13 before converting
- 5List, review sales and repeat on alts
Complete Personal Conquest on as many characters as you can do comfortably. When the guild also reaches its invasion yield, qualifying characters receive another reward package and a Flagship Encryption that may be sold on the GTN. At the Spoils of War vendor, compare OEM-37 and RPM-13 on your server and buy the one with the better realistic sale value.
Choose your income lane
Conquest across alts
Use easy daily objectives, short Heroics and your preferred weekly content to reach Personal Conquest. This stacks Tech Fragments, guild rewards and direct mission credits without needing starting capital.
Tech Fragment content
Operations, Heroics, Dynamic Encounters, Flashpoints, Warzones and Galactic Starfighter all contribute through direct drops or missions. Choose the activity you can clear quickly and consistently; wasted queue time is lost profit.
Gather while playing
Take Slicing, Scavenging, Archaeology or Bioanalysis, gather every node along your normal route and keep companions running missions. Sell raw materials in useful stack sizes. Even low-grade materials can move because they feed decorations, cosmetics and Conquest crafting.
Convert Jawa scrap
Compare the GTN unit value of materials offered by the three Jawa vendors before exchanging scrap. Demand changes, so a material recommended last month may be a poor conversion today.
Craft proven demand
Augment kits, augments, stims, adrenals, dyes, crystals, prefabs and selected cosmetics can sell well. Craft only when the finished payout beats the live value of every input; selling the raw materials is often more profitable.
Flip GTN items
Flipping needs price history, capital and patience. Learn one narrow category, buy only obvious discounts and keep enough cash to absorb slow sales. Expensive Cartel items can show large margins while remaining unsold for days.
GTN profit check
Net profit = GTN payout shown − material cost − mission or vendor costs.
Darth Malgus prices are the only prices that matter for this guild. Do not copy prices from Star Forge, another guide or last week's sale.
- Search the exact item and compare unit price, not only stack total.
- For crafting, price every input at what it could sell for raw.
- Use smaller stacks for buyers who need a few materials; use full stacks for crafters.
- Do not undercut a temporary outlier if normal listings are much higher.
- Track what actually sells. A realistic fast sale beats an impressive unsold listing.
Thirty-minute routine
- Collect finished crew missions, send companions back out and empty junk.
- Check Personal Conquest for two or three fast objectives that overlap.
- Run several short Heroics or active Dynamic Encounters while gathering nodes.
- Advance one weekly activity that pays Tech Fragments or Conquest.
- Compare your tradable rewards on the GTN, then list only at a price you accept.
Weekly checklist
- Finish Personal Conquest first on your strongest level-80 character.
- Repeat on alts only while the objectives remain fast and enjoyable.
- Claim guild-invasion rewards after reset and price any Flagship Encryptions.
- Spend capped or near-capped currencies before continuing to farm them.
- Reprice expired listings from current market data rather than the old listing.
- Keep a reserve; do not reinvest your entire balance into one speculative item.
Free-to-play and Preferred
Free-to-play and Preferred accounts can hold 1,000,000 credits on a character at once. Deposit credits into the Legacy Bank before reaching the cap; excess character credits go to escrow. While levelling, prioritize progression and gathering because mission-credit rewards improve at higher levels.
Rules and expensive traps
- Never buy credits for real money. SWTOR rules prohibit buying or selling accounts, items and in-game currency without permission.
- Never use automation, macros or exploits to gather or farm.
- Confirm every digit before buying, mailing or trading a valuable item.
- Opening packs is gambling, not a dependable money-making method.
The repeatable formula is simple: complete Conquest while earning Tech Fragments, gather along the way, sell liquid rewards, and move into crafting only after the live GTN proves there is a margin. Consistency beats one lucky sale.

Guild Rules
These rules keep The True Republic welcoming, useful and easy to coordinate. They apply in guild chat, Discord and organized guild activities.
Treat guildmates with respect. Personal attacks, harassment and deliberate hostility are not welcome.
Keep guild chat usable. Use English and avoid spam or sensitive topics such as politics, race, and sexual content.
Use spoiler alerts for major story spoilers. SWTOR has a lot of story content and not everyone is at the same point.
No scams, malicious links, account trading or real-money trading.
During organized guild content, follow the group lead. Questions and suggestions are welcome, but keep coordination clear during pulls and encounters.
SWTOR general rules still apply.
Requesting a guild invite confirms that you have read and agree to these rules.
