Follow the Fleet briefing into Tatooine's underground plague tunnels, combine the dailies into one eastbound sweep, then finish with the Eyeless operation boss or the surface world boss.

How to start

  1. Use the floating News Terminal near a lateral elevator on Carrick Station.
  2. Watch the THORN broadcast and accept To Fight Infection.
  3. Travel to Tatooine and report to the THORN camp near Anchorhead.
  4. Pick up Quarantine: Anchorhead and inoculate five infected citizens with the mission item.
  5. Take the camp speeder, descend through The Spike, and report to Crisis Command.

Before going underground

  • Empty several mission-log slots and collect every terminal mission.
  • Bring a healing companion if solo; bring at least one friend for the Heroic area.
  • Keep the supplied macrobinoculars and mission items accessible.
  • Switch to the PvE instance when looking for help with champion enemies.

Efficient daily route

  1. Finish the surface quarantine mission and report to the THORN camp.
  2. Descend to Crisis Command and collect all tunnel dailies.
  3. Head east and complete Rounding Up Raklings by attracting three raklings and returning them to the specimen container.
  4. Complete Tracking the Plague by collecting ten Mutagen Samples from infected enemies.
  5. Scan the first navigation beacons in the Contagion Zone.
  6. Continue through Infested Pathways; finish the beacon scans while scanning five skeletal remains and defeating twenty-five rakghouls.
  7. Enter The Epicenter for Flora and Fauna: defeat twenty Fungal Rakghouls and recover three samples from Rakghoul Blights.
  8. Finish with the Eyeless, Jeelvic, or the Tatooine world boss according to the group you can find.

The Eyeless

  • Buy and use a THORN Priority Authorization for 1,000 credits to access the operation mission.
  • Form a group of 8 or 16 players and clear the surrounding maulers before pulling the boss.
  • Move out of green ground effects; melee should leave the purple area unless actively tanking.
  • Kill small rakghoul adds quickly. The boss rewards reputation, event currency, and a chance at a Barnacle of the Eyeless.

World boss, vendor, and companion

  • Plaguehorn is northwest of Outpost Largona in the Jundland Wastes and can drop its Reek pet.
  • Find Jeelvic wandering The Epicenter after completing his datapad mission; he sells event crystals, pets, mounts, and decorations.
  • The event is required to finish the Alliance Alert for Doctor Lokin; a Barnacle can also provide a large influence boost and an achievement.

What to keep and spend

Build THORN reputation and keep Rakghoul DNA Canisters. Rare mount purchases can also require an Exotic Plague Specimen, Symbiotic Fungal Bloom, or Barnacle of the Eyeless. Featured rewards include THORN armor, Outbreak Response weapons, infected mounts, mini-pets, companion customizations, black-green crystals, and stronghold decorations.

Fast guild run: clear the surface mission, sweep the tunnels eastward as one group, complete Flora and Fauna together, then form an operation for Eyeless before everyone leaves the instance.
